[WEEK 11]
If you're looking for last minute information to help you make those last second critical decisions, make sure you are here and check out the Sunday Morning Report.
Week 10: The Week that was...
- Tight end, tight ends, tight ends: Last Sunday the tight ends around the league made big noise in the fantasy world with the likes of Gonzales and Winslow catching 10 passes and players like Bo Scaife and Todd Heap finding the end-zone in Week 10.
- Thigpen continues to play well for Chiefs: The Chiefs quarterback registered his 2nd game with a passer rating of at least 108.0 in Week 10. Thigpen threw for 266 yards and 3 touchdowns.
- Peterson runs "All-Day" against the Packers in Week 10: The leagues leading rusher continued to do what he does, running all day against the Packers for 192 yards and a touchdown.
- Jacobs steam rolls the Eagles Sunday night: The Giants big bruiser ran through the Eagles defense carrying the ball 22 times for 126 yards and 2 rushing touchdowns.
- The Jets Blitz the Rams in Week 10: The Jets running game broke loose for 206 yards on the ground in Week 10, led by Thomas Jones who added 3 rushing touchdowns on the day.
This Week at a glance...
- Jackson to sit Week 11: The Rams running back will miss his second consecutive game and third in the past four weeks. Jackson is still laboring from a thigh injury suffered in Week 7 against the Cowboys.
- Romo to start Sunday night: The Cowboys offense has struggled for the past several weeks, but will hope to get healthy in a hurry with quarterback Tony Romo's return tonight against the Redskins.
- Portis unlikely to play: The word is Portis could be active tonight, but will likely be limited if he does play. Portis did not practice this week and running back Ladell Betts is expected to start.
- Reggie Bush ruled OUT for Sunday: The Saints have ruled out Reggie Bush for week 111, but word is he could have played if he was really needed. Bush could make his return in Week 12.
- Hasselbeck set to return: The Seahawks quarterback completed practice this week and will start today against the Cardinals. Hasselbeck has not played since Week 5, but he could be consider a decent flex playing against the leagues 18th ranked pass defense.
- Parker expected to play: The Steelers running back was not on the injury report and is expected to start. Parker will wear a shoulder harness to protect the sore shoulder.
- Branch will start today: The Seahawks receiver has not see action since week 5, but will not only return today, but he will start against the Cardinals today.

Two Minute Drill!
Fill the Void:
The Chiefs are going to play running back Larry Johnson today against the Saints. The offense has had it's struggles on the ground over the past couple of weeks, but with the recent play of quarterback Tyler Thigpen (710 yards passing, 6 touchdowns last three games) things could open up in the run. Johnson is a big back still with good speed and against the Saints questionable 19th ranked run defense. LJ's participation may be limited today, but he should still be productive and could find the end-zone.
The Cowboys will see the return of their team leader on offense Tony Romo. With Romo in the game, things will definitely open up on offense and wide receiver Roy Williams could finally make a significant contribution on Sunday. Fantasy owners could look to Williams as a possible WR3 or flex play this Sunday.
The Bronco's running game is in bad shape going into Sunday's matchup with the Falcon's 21st ranked run defense. With the focus surely to be directed to quarterback Jay Cutler and the visiting Bronco's passing game, look for running back Tatum Bell to not only see 10-15 carries, but possibly break off a few solid runs and collect decent yardage for the day.
The Chief's offense has been the talk of the town lately, with the recent play of Thigpen and resurgence of tight end Tony G. Another player that has benefited from the Chief's upstart play, is wideout Mark Bradley. The Chiefs receiver has not only become a regular target of Thigpen recently 18 catches last three weeks), but he has found the end-zone in two of his last three games played. Owners can consider Bradley a high end WR3 or strong flex today.
My Weekly Fantasy Picks!
THE FOUR HORSE-MEN...
QB-Tyler Thigpen (KC)...
The Chief's young quarterback has found his groove passing for over 700 yards with 6 touchdowns in his last three starts. This Sunday Thigpen draws the Saints 26th ranked pass defense. New Orleans has allowed 14 passing touchdowns and 32 big pass plays. Owners can expect to see the Chiefs attack the secondary throughout the day.
Prediction: 20 of 32 passing for 300 yards and 2 touchdowns!
RB-Brian Westbrook (Phi)....
The Eagles running back has been a bit quiet as of late, so it's time for Westbrook to heat things up. Playing against a questionable Bengal's run defense (ranked 27th) expect to see Westbrook to see 20-25 touches and a lot of yards.
Prediction: 18 carries for 115 yards rushing, 5 catches for 45 yards receiving and two touchdowns!
WR-Greg Jennings (GB)....
The Packers will undoubtedly attack the Bears 30th ranked secondary first to set up the run. Jennings has been the big playmaker this season for Rodgers. With the Bear's defense still hampered by injuries, expect to see Jennings and Rodgers to hook up often.
Prediction: 7 catches for 125 yards and a touchdown
TE-Jason Witten (Dal).....
With Romo back in the saddle, fantasy owners can expect to see Witten heavily involved in the check down and short passing game. When Romo was out, Witten's production dropped significantly and now's that the Cowboy's team leader is back in the line up, Witten should see the dividends.
Prediction: 7 receptions for 75 yards and a touchdown!
The 5th Rider...
(Flex/option) The Titan's running game will find new life once again this week against the Jaguars 20th ranked run defense led by rookie running back Chris Johnson. In the team's first matchup the rookie was effective running for 93 yards, catching 3 balls for another 34 yards, and finding the end zone. The Jaguars defense is still a bit soft in the middle allowing 103 yards to the Lions in Week 10.
Three and Out (RBs & WRs):
Three running backs I like in week 11 and ones that I would strongly suggest that you have in your line up Sunday!
Running backs...
(1st Down) RB-Frank Gore (SF)....the Rams have one of the league's worst defense this season, allowing 160 yards per game and 15 rushing touchdowns. Gore will start today against the Rams, enough said.
(2nd Down) RB-Joseph Addai (Ind)....the Colt's running back collected 71 yards on the ground and scored once in the team's first meeting. With Peyton looking much sharper, Addai could be more involved in the passing game as well as the run.
(3rd Down) RB-Steve Slaton (Hou)....the Texan's rookie was solid in the first matchup and his recent contributions to the passing game make him a fantasy favorite to collect good yardage and to find paydirt today.
(OUT-sit him) RB-Fred Taylor (Jax)....the Jaguars running back has been slumping as of late, but did breathe some life last week against the Lions. This week however he faces the Titans, who held him to 18 yards in Week 1. No a good matchup for Fred.
