Week 12: By The Numbers

The Gun-Slingers

Over his last four starts, Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix has been a stud for fantasy owners (fantasy QB4 during this stretch - 23.1 pts/game) and a difference maker on the gridiron. He’s averaging 257 yards passing, 2.2 touchdowns, 24.2 completions, and 72.9 completion percentage during this four week span. He is coming off his best passing performance of the season in week 11 with 307 yards passing and 4 touchdowns, and looks poised to continue his success this week against a Las Vegas fantasy defense that is ranked 29th versus opposing quarterbacks.

The Work-Horses

Sunday could be the perfect storm for the Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt. He shouldn’t have much of a problem hitting 20 carries this week facing the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers have allowed the 2nd most rushing yards (1,339 yards) and the most fantasy points to opposing running backs.

Week 11: By The Numbers

The Wide Receivers

The Steelers playmaking wide receiver, George Pickens just keeps doing George Pickens things on Sundays, adding only his second receiving touchdown of the season, a week ago with a spectacular grab. Over the past four weeks, Pickens is the fantasy WR8, with 14 receptions for 276 receiving yards (19.7 y/r), with his touchdown last week. It’s a divisional matchup today versus the Ravens, the league’s worst defense against the pass; most passing yards (314.4 yards/game) and touchdowns (21) allowed. The Ravens have also allowed the 2nd most receptions to wide receivers. Pickens has Top-10 sights today with a probable score. Just my take.

Coming off a poor showing in Week 10, the Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson still remains a top flight receiver in fantasy over the past month. Over his last four contests Wilson is the fantasy WR12, collecting 24 balls (33 targets) with 305 yards receiving and two scores. Wilson faces a Colts defense that ranks middle of the pack versus wide receivers, although they have allowed the 7th most receiving yards to the position this season, including the 3rd most over the past two weeks. Wilson is locked and loaded for a bounce back game.
