Week 8: By the Numbers

The Wide Receivers

The Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins has led the team with 39 targets over the past 4 weeks (9 more than Ja’Marr Chase). During this stretch he’s been the fantasy WR7 (ppr) with 26 catches, 302 yards receiving, and three touchdowns.

For the season the Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs is currently the fantasy WR39. But since his one game hiatus over the past two weeks has been the fantasy WR7 collecting 11 passes for 143 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Tomorrow Doubs faces a Jaguars defense that is allowing the 4th most fantasy points & receiving yards along with the 3rd most receptions to opposing wide receivers

Week 8: By the Numbers

The Running Backs

Quietly over the past 4 weeks, in three games Bears running back D'Andre Swift checks in as the RB3 fantasy points per game with 257 yards rushing, 147 yards receiving, and 3 rushing touchdowns. He is the fantasy RB17 for the season (ppr) and gets a run at a Commander's defense that has allowed the 6th most rushing yards and 5.1 yards per carry.

During the last 4 weeks, Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard has registered a rushing score in 3 of his last 4 games, scoring in double-digit fantasy points all four weeks, including five straight games. For the year Hubbard is the fantasy RB16 (ppr) and tomorrow he’s got a tough matchup against a Broncos defense that has allowed the 12th fewest fantasy points to opposing runners.

Back with the Chiefs, running back Kareem Hunt has been solid during the team's last two games. Hunt has averaged 26 touches and 100 scrimmage yards finishing in the top 10 fantasy scoring for running backs in each of the two games. This Sunday Hunt will square off against the Raiders 23rd ranked run defense that is allowing the 10th most rushing yards to opposing running backs.
