THE SUNDAY MORNING REPORT

If you're looking for more information last minute information to help you make those last second critical descision, make sure you are here and check out the Sunday Morning Report.

This Week at a glance...

**This past week has been nothing more than a long laundry list of injuires; with Hasselbeck likely out in Seattle and Bengal's quarterback Carson Palmer not expected to play against the Jets. Other names filling the weekly headlines with injuries, the Eagles Brain Westbrook will not play, the Chargers Chris Chambers is expected to miss, and the Eagels Reggie Brown will sit today.

**The Rams return to action in week 6 with quarterback Marc Bulger back at the starting quarterback position. The rookie WR Donnie Avery will also start with Torry Holt.

**The Broncos have been hit slightly with the injury bug, with their tight end Tony Scheffler out today against the Jaguars. Running back Selvin Young will also be sidelined, but the rookie WR Eddie Royal is expected to be in there today.

**The Cleveland Brown's are likely to face the New York Giants on Monday night without their starting tigh end Kellen Winslow, who still remains hospitalized. Winslow fell ill earlier in the week and has been hospitalized for several days. No word of his release or when he will return to the Browns.

Noteable Game-time plays today...
If your checking updates, keep your eye out for the following players that will be last minute decisions today; WR Roddy White will likely be a game time decision against the Bears, the Patriots RB Laurence Maroney could sit tonight against the Chargers, and the Lions "book-end receivers" Calvin Johnson and Roy Williams are expected to play today
It does not look as though the Seahawks receiver Deion Branch will be availabe today against the Packers, while there is no word as of yet it does look promising for the Eagles WR Kevin Curtis to make his 2008 season debut today.
With Carson Palmer expected to sit, back up Ryan Fitzpatrick will start and in Detroit the Lions are not expecting to have the services of Jon Kitna, so quarterback Dan Orlovsky will likely given the start (if he's available).

The Otherside of the ball...
Check here each week for weekly key IDP injuries.

The Packers LB AJ Hawk has been on the injury reports the last couple of weeks, but even if he's not full speed he's expected to be in the line up. IDP owners may want to go with a healthier option at the Linebacker position. The Redskins DE Jason Taylor is expected to play toda against the Rams. With all the line troubles the Rams have experienced, Taylor could be a good plug in today. Despite his recent troubles, the Cowboys starting corner Adam Jones is expected to be in the line up today against the Cardinals. The Colts DE Dwight Freeney returned to full practice on Friday and should be ready to go today against the Ravens.

Check "Sunday Morning Game-Time" for the last minutes starts and sits for today's games.

Two Minute Drill!

Fill the Void:
A possible fill today, if you're looking for help at the receiver position, the Vikings WR Bobby Wade. The Vikings wide out has been quite productive the last couple of weeks and heavily targeted the past couple of Sundays (33 targets this season). Over his past two games, Wade has 15 receptions for 139 yards.

With the Brown's starting tight end likely out this Monday night, Steve Heiden is expected to start and could serve as a nice flex option. Heiden has only one catch this season in limited action, but he's more than a capable receiver. In 2005, before the emergence of Winslow, Heiden did post 43 receptions.

If you managed to hit the Waiver wires and pick up RB Michael Pittman, there's not going to be a lot of opportunity for the Broncos runner this season with a crowded backfield, but this could be the week he gets his most work. Already a goal line ball hawk, with 4 touchdowns Pittman could be a very good spot fill or flex option in this week.

Three and Out (RBs & WRs):
Three running backs I like in week 6 and one that I would strongly suggest that you have in your line up Sunday!

Running Backs...

(1st Down) RB-Adrian Peterson (Min)....the Vikings runner was stuffed Monday night against the Saints, but today he faces the Detroit Lions. Likely to be at the top of everyone's RB list, Peterson is a must-start and big play today. He should get 20 plus carries and easily surpass the 100 yard barrier. Fantasy owners should expect to see "All Day" score at least one time today!

(2nd Down) RB-Matt Forte (Chi)....the Bears will take their running game on the road today, but that won't matter for rookie running back Matt Forte. he'll get plenty of work against the Falcons today and should be very productive. Expect Forte to collect over 120 yards of offense and reach the end at least once!

(3rd Down) RB-Ronnie Brown (Mia)...was it quickly becoming a strong must-play every week, start Brown today against the Texans. Brown has been hot and running well the past couple of weeks. Today he should continue he running ways against the Texans 26th ranked run defense!

(OUT-sit him) RB-Chris Perry (Cin)....Perry was the choice here, just beating out Patriots running back Laurence Maroney. Perry will face the NFL's 5th ranked run defense, led by the immovable object, DT Kris Jenkins. Sit Perry and pray for rain.
