NFL Injury News



  • The Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck may have suffered a concussion on Sunday against the Cardinals according to The Tacoma Tribune. Hasselbeck sustained a hard hit during a scramble play on Sunday. In the post-game press conference Hasselbeck appeared a little confused.
  • The Redskins running back Ladell Betts tweaked his ankle Sunday night against the Cowboys. No updates available at this time.
  • The Rams offensive tackle Orlando Pace suffered an injury to his knee Sunday. the severity of the injury is not known.
  • The Bronco's running back P.J. Pope had sore ribs after Sunday's game with the Falcons. Pope had his ribs X-rayed, but the results are not known.
  • The Vikings defensive lineman Jared Allen was in pain following Sunday's action. Allen was laying with a shoulder injury and it appears it could be worse now. It is not known if Allen will be forced to miss any time.
  • The Buccaneer's running back Earnest Graham suffered a right foot injury in Week 11. Following the game he was seen wearing a boot. The severity of the injury is still not known.
  • The Chargers defensive end Luis Castillo suffered a groin injury in the team's Week 11 loss to the Steelers. No further updates available.
  • The Rams right guard Richie Incognito suffered a strained rotator cuff on Sunday. The seriousness of the injury is not known.
  • The Giants running back Brandon Jacobs will have a precautionary MRI on his sore knee according to NBC's Peter King. The word is there's nothing wrong with the knee, the team is just playing it safe.
  • The Bengal's receiver Antonio Chatman was carted off the field Sunday with a neck injury according to the NFL.com. Subsequent tests turned out normal and Chatman has movement in both arms and legs.

Sunday's Game Notes:

  • The Giants bullied their way through the Raven's defense on Sunday rushing for over 200 yards on the ground. The act of Earth (Jacobs-73 rushing yards, 2tds), Wind (Ward-41 rushing yards), and Fire (Bradshaw-96 rushing yards) was too much for Ray Lewis and the Raven's too handle averaging 6.7 yards per carry on the afternoon.
  • Warner and company lit up the Northwest skies as the Cardinal's offense rolled up 458 yards of offense. The Cardinal's talented tandem (Boldin and Fitzgerald) combined for 23 catches and 337 yards receiving, while Warner completed a total of 32 passes and finished the day with 395 yards passing.
  • The Titans used a balanced mix of offense with 230 yards passing and 114 yards rushing on Sunday to defeat the Jaguars and improve to 10-0. Quarterback Kerry Collins turned in another solid Sunday throwing three more touchdowns in the win, including two to his receiver Justin Gage.
  • The Colt's offense turned it up another notch in Week 11. Peyton Manning and the offense posted 33 points on the board and rolled up 474 yards of offense in their win on Sunday. Both Wayne (7 catches, 90 yards) and Harrison (9 catches, 77 yards, 1td) got into the act, while running back Joseph Addai stole the show with over 100 yards rushing and two touchdowns on the day.
