Week 12...
NFL Weekly Storylines

AFC

Titan's keep the ball rolling in Week 11.
The Titan's improved their overall record this season to 10-0 with a road win Sunday over the Jaguars. They will face the New York Jets next weekend in Week 12 of the schedule.
fantasy impact: Over the past two weekends, team's have focused on stopping the Titan's "Smash and Dash" ground attack. In those two games Collins has passed for 519 yards with 5 touchdowns. This could be the game plan for opposing defenses and wideouts Brandon Jones and Justin Gage could both become more prominent plays in fantasy down the stretch.

Bronco's defense finally wakes up in Week 11.
The Bronco's entered Sunday's affair with the Atlanta Falcons as one of the league's worst defenses. In Week 11 the defense limited the Falcon's ground game to a meager 110 yards on 36 carries (3.0 yards per carry).
fantasy impact: The Falcon's are certainly not one of the league's elite offenses, but they entered the game with one of the leagues best rushing attacks. The improved play on defense is not necessarily a sign of things to come, but it is a good sign for Denver, although in team defense formats the Broncos should still be avoided.

Colt's unleash offense in Week 11
Peyton Manning and company erupted for 33 points on Sunday and rolled up 474 yards of offense in their Week 11 win over Houston. Manning was spectacular passing for over 300 yards with two touchdown passes, while Addai had the ground game rolling with 105 yards on the day.
fantasy impact: If you own any of the Colt's skill players, this past Sunday was a nice preview of things to come. With a favorable second half schedule this offense could be picking the right time to start peaking for fantasy owners. While Manning, Wayne and Clark are must starts, Addai should be ready to join the club soon, but owners may want to show a little patience with Harrison who looks close.

Parker's shoulder looks okay in Sunday win.
The Steeler's running back played without any limitations or setbacks on Sunday carrying the ball 25 times for 115 yards on the ground. Parker's production on the ground was critical in the 4th quarter helping the team preserve its' Week 11 win.
fantasy impact: The Steeler's Fast-Willie-Parker was solid in week 11 and looks like his old self running again. Fantasy owners should count on having FWP in their line ups every Sunday until told otherwise.

LT total 100 yards as offense struggles.
The Charger's running back has only rushed for more than 100 yards in a game twice in 10 games this season. On Sunday LT was held to 57 yards on the ground, but did have 3 catches for 45 yards and added a rushing touchdown.
fantasy impact: The Charger's running back has not been his dynamic self this season, yet he still has been productive. In 10 games this season LT has 686 yards rushing and 294 yards receiving with 6 touchdowns. These are not normal LT numbers, but he's still an RB1 in most formats. With a favorable schedule coming up (Colts, Falcons, Raiders, and Chiefs) LT could get hot.

Johnson plays in Week 11.
The Chief's running back returned to the line up Sunday and played well for missing so much time. Johnson touched the ball 20 times and totaled 87 yards for the day.
fantasy impact: The Chief's running back looked solid running hard and playing in the new spread offense. He was a little off hitting the holes, but that could just be timing from missing action, something that playing more will heal. LJ has turned into somewhat of a sleeper having been a fantasy afterthought sitting on the sidelines the last several weeks. With a great fantasy schedule down the stretch, LJ could have some big games ahead.

NFC

Boldin and Fitzgerald have Cards flying.
The Cardinal's receiving book-ends were over-whelming on Sunday in the team's Week 11 win. Q and Fitz combined for 23 receptions and 337 receiving yards. The two single handedly dismantled the Seahawks secondary. Has there ever been a more awesome display?
fantasy impact: By now the entire fantasy world knows these two belong in your line up every week including next year. With Warner under center, this team is going to pass its way to the playoffs and these two are going to be fantasy Beasts. There's little doubt about their skills and talents, the only question one might ask, which of these two is the better receiver?

Portis starts for Redskins in Week 11
The Redskins running back played Sunday night against the Cowboys, but was not quite the impact fans have been used to seeing. Portis carried the ball just 15 times and gained only 68 yards for the night.
fantasy impact: The Redskins running back did not look as effective as he has been and his health going forward could be a concern. Portis did run hard, but he was not as shifty or swift on his feet and did not run with the same power we have seen. Fantasy owners will need his knee to get better, before he can return to the fantasy stud he was in the early going this season.

Grant has big day in big win at Lambeau.
The Packer's running back broke loose on Sunday against the Bear's tough run defense. Grant carried the ball 25 times and rushed for 145 yards with a touchdown in the team's Week 11 win. It was just the second time this season Grant has rushed for over 100 yards.
fantasy impact: With an impressive run in Week 11, Grant could be playing with a new confidence and with some nice matchups coming up (Saints week 12, Texans week 14) Grant could be a solid play going into the fantasy playoffs.

Buc's keep the Caddi parked over the weekend
The Buccaneer's running back Carnell "Cadillac" Williams returned to practice this past week, but is still not quite ready to see action. With the recent injury to RB Earnest Graham (ankle) on Sunday, that all could change in a hurry.
fantasy impact: The word was Williams was still weeks away from returning to action, but with Graham done for the year his rehab could be put into rush mode. Graham suffered an ankle injury and is speculated at the very least to miss some significant time. For now the team will likely roll with Warrick Dunn, but if Graham is done for the year, the Buc's could be starting up the Caddi very soon.

Panthers running game in high gear.
The Panthers had their ground assault on high alert in Week 11. Their dynamic duo of Williams and Stewart combined for 250 yards on the ground and three touchdowns in the team's win on Sunday over the Lions.
fantasy impact: Unfortunately for Fantasy owners the Panthers do not play the Lions 16 times this season. Sunday the Panthers ground game made Swiss cheese of the Lions defense with both Williams and Stewart going over the century mark. Both backs will continue to be a time-share with Williams the better risk of the two, but owners shouldn't hesitate to start Stewart as a decent flex option.

Earth, Wind, and Fire perform big show in Week 11.
The Giant's unleashed the four winds of the earth and their three-headed monster rushing attack on the Raven's defense in Week 11. The result was 207 yards rushing and a 30-10 victory.
fantasy impact: Unfortunately for fantasy owners games are not 8 quarters instead of 4. With these three, if given enough playing time they are all fantasy studs. With limited touches, this three-headed monster is not so scary in the fantasy world. Only Jacobs remains the weekly play with both Ward and Bradshaw being a hit and miss start. Fantasy owners should only consider Wind and Fire as a handcuff to Jacobs, except in much deeper leagues where they can offer some value.
