Infirmary Report

Week 11 Injury Updates
(Some recent player injury news; updated Friday Nov. 20th)
Offensive Player Injuries

Kyle Orton-QB (Broncos)
The Broncos quarterback Kyle Orton (ankle) has not practiced all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday. Depsite his questionable status, if he is able to play through the injury he will be on the field against the Chargers. Orton is expected to be game-time, but it appears more likely he will give it a go.

Matt Stafford-QB (Lions)
The Lions rookie quarterback Matt Stafford (knee) finally participated in a full practice on Friday, his first in about a month. He is listed as probable and expected to play, but is hardly worth any fantasy consideration.

Clinton Portis-RB (Redskins)
The Redskins running back Clinton Portis (consussion) has been ruled out for Sunday. This will be the second consecutive week that Portis has missed while recovering from the head injury.

Ahmad Bradshaw-RB (Giants)
The Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw (ankle) was able to practice this week with no setbacks and is expected to play Sunday against the Falcons. In nine games this season Bradshaw has 515 yards rushing and four touchdowns.

Brian Westbrook-RB (Eagles)
The Eagles running back Brian Westbrook (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday and is not likely to see any action anytime soon. Westbrook suffered his second concussion of the seaso and could be shut down for the remainder for the season; that remains to be seen.

Reggie Bush-RB (Saints)
The Saints running back Reggie Bush (knee) missed his third straight day of practice and is listed as questionable for Sunday against the Buccaneers. It sounds like Bush is likely to sit, meaning both Thomas and Bell will see more work on Sunday.

Correll Buckhalter-RB (Broncos)
The Broncos running back Correll Buckhalter (knee) is listed as probable and appears to be a certainty to play Sunday against the Chargers. He may play, but Moreno looks like the favorite to receiver the brunt of the work.

Brandon Marshall-WR (Broncos)
The Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall (neck) was able to practice in full on Friday and appears to be a definite go for Sunday. He is officially listed as probable for week 11.

Antonio Gates-TE (Chargers)
The Chargers tight end Antonio Gates (foot) is listed as probable for Sunday against the Broncos and is expected to start. Gates leads the team with 49 receptions this season.

Defensive Player Injuries
Antoine Winfield-CB (Vikings)
The Vikings cornerback Antoine Winfield (foot) is not expected to start, but could play this week against the Seahawks. Winfield has been sidelined since week seven when he suffered the injury to his foot.

Rashean Mathis-CB (Jaguars)
The Jaguars cornerback Rashean Mathis (groin) has already been declared out for Sunday against the Bills. With Mathis sidelined, safety Reggie Nelson is expected to make the move to corner.

Josh Wilson-CB (Seahawks)
The Seahawks cornerback Josh Wilson (concussion) is listed as doubtful for Sunday against the Vikings and not expected to play. Wilson has not practiced all week.

Sheldon Brown-CB (Eagles)
The Eagles cornerback Sheldon Brown (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday and is expected to be a game-time decision. According to Andy Reid, Brown is getting better, but he is day-to-day.

Antonio Pierce-LB (Giants)
The team announced that linebacker Antonio Pierce (neck) would be out indefinitely after a bulging disc was discovered in his neck. Fantasy owners need to find new options at the position as Pierce will likely be sidelined for an extended period, minimum.

Albert Haynesworth-DL (Redskins)
The Redskins highly paid defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday and will likely be a game-time decision to play against the Cowboys.

Don't forget to check every Sunday morning for "Game-time" updates....
