FSH: THE FANTASY SPORTS ZONE (THE FOUR HORSEMEN)

November 15th, 2009 - 7:57Am PST

The Fantasy Sports Zone
The fOUR HORSEMEN

Here are my four fantasy football riders for week 10.

Quarterback:
The Cowboys offense has been on a roll over the past several weeks and one of the biggest reasons has been the play of quarterback Tony Romo. In his last four starts (all wins for the Cowboys) Romo has completed 62 percent of his passes and thrown for 1,225 yards while throwing nine touchdowns. Today he faces a defense that has allowed seven touchdown passes in it's last two games.

Running back:
The Rams offense ranks amongst the worst in the leagues, but running back Steven Jackson is still managing to perform with the elite. Jackson is second in the NFL with 970 total yards and in his last two starts he has rushed for 283 yards and averaged over six yards per carry. Today against the Saints, Jackson faces a defense that ranks 19th against the run and allows over fours yards per run.

Wide Receiver:
The Vikings will host the Lions today and for Sidney Rice owners that is good news. In his last three games Rice has caught 20 passes for 352 yards and he leads the club with 37 receptions this season. The Lions secondary ranks 31st against the pass and with Rice becoming one of Brett Favre's favorite targets (25 targets in last three games) Rice figures to have a big game today.

Tight End:
Last season the Eagles tight end Brent Celek burst onto to the scene during an improbable postseason run by the Eagles that ended in the NFC championship. In 2009 Celek has just picked things up where he left off. The Eagles tight end leads the club with 40 receptions and four touchdowns. Traveling to San Diego he should see more favorable coverage with the secondary preoccupied with the Eagles speed (Maclin, Jackson) on the outside. The Chargers defense has allowed five touchdowns to tight ends this season and have struggled mightily to cover the position; expect a big day from Celek.

Check back every Sunday for next week's "fOUR HORSEMEN"....
