[The Saturday Night Edition]

THE ATL REPORT

Storylines this week:
  • Injuries this week: The Colts WR Reggie Wayne is questionable for Sunday Night's clash with the Patriots, while RB LaMont Jordan and RB Sammy Morris have been downgraded to OUT. The Buccaneer's RB Warrick Dunn did not travel with the team after missing practice all week, running back Michael Bennett will see action in his place.
  • Parker to return Monday night: The Steelers running back will make his return Monday night, but fantasy owners should still expect to see quite a bit of MeWelde Moore, who filled in for Fast Willie Parker. The Steelers are facing the leagues 5th ranked run defense.
  • LJ suspended in KC: The Chiefs will be without Johnson for two more games, this Sunday and week 10 as the NFL handed down his suspension earlier in the week. While Johnson is out, the team will rely on Kolby Smith and the rookie Jamaal Charles to carry the load. While Johnson could face more punishment with a hearing scheduled in December, it is not lining up to be this season. The LJ saga continues and fantasy owners will have to wait and see.
  • Witten game-time against Giants: The Cowboys tight end did not practice all week and is expected to be game-time. Although some reports are saying he will try to play, it is not likely that Witten will go this Sunday. The rookie tight end Martellus Bennett is expected to start in his place.
  • Torain could make debut Sunday: With so many injuries to the Denver backfield, word is Pittman is going to start for the Broncos, but it is likely that the rookie Ryan Torain will make his NFL debut this Sunday.
  • Jones No. 1 option in Jax: The Jaguars head coach Jack Del Rio made official what many fantasy owners already knew when he referred to his receiver Matt Jones as the team's number one option. Jones has been one of the highest targeted receivers in the NFL with 64 this season
