David's Daily Digest
[My Take]

More football news and happenings from around the league; here’s the latest I am hearing, reading, and following with my take on things and how they will impact the coming fantasy week……

Player Notes From Across My Wire...

Parker likely on the way out....
The word around the Steel City is Parker wants out and it also sounds like the Steelers may oblige. Parker lost his starting job last season and saw little action as a backup finishing with just 389 yards on 98 carries. Fantasy owners, won't have to hold their breath; if Parker is not a Steeler this summer he will more than likely land in a place where he can contribute.

Breaston re-signs with the Cards...
Restricted free agent wide receiver Steve Breaston has re-signed with the Cardinals. With Boldin gone, Breaston is expected to become a full-time starter playing opposite wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald. In his three season's Breaston has performed well as the team's number three (140 receptions, 1,810 yards receiving), but as a starter he should be more productive and move up most fantasy boards.

Sproles reports for Offseason duty....
The Charger's running back Darren Sproles has yet to sign his tender, but he is in attendance for the team's voluntary training program. With LT gone, Sproles figures to be in line for more work in 2010, but since he hasn't signed and the team has yet to proclaim him their starter fantasy owners will have to wait before evaluating.

IDP Notes

Chargers sign Vasher...
The Bears former starting corner Nathan Vasher has signed a two year deal with the Chargers. Vasher gives the Chargers added depth in the Nickel package, but after starting in only 11 games over the past three seasons (due to injuries) it's hard to imagine he would contribute any more. He'll offer little value for fantasy owners in IDP leagues as a part time player.
