Sunday Football Notes

Week 13 Injury round-up
(Updated Monday Dec. 7th)

Offensive Player Injuries

Matt Schaub-QB (Texans)
The Texans quarterback Matt Schaub suffered a dislocated shoulder in the first quarter of Sunday's matchup with the Jaguars. Schaub left the game to have X-rays taken, but was able to return in the second quarter wearing a harness. He finished the game with 207 yards passing and one touchdown.

Matthew Stafford-QB (Lions)
According to the Detroit Free Press the Lions rookie quarterback Matt Stafford appeared to have aggravated his left shoulder injury in Sunday's matchup against the Bengals. He left the game with his left arm by his side and was relieved by backup Daunte Culpepper.

Kurt Warner-QB (Cardinals)
The Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner suffered a hip injury late in Sunday night's win over the Vikings. Warner showed no ill-effects from the concussion he suffered two weeks earlier, but did show a slight limp after suffering the injury. The latest on the Warner, the injury doesn't appear to be serious and as of Monday he was noted as saying the hip "feels good."

Jamaal Charles-RB (Chiefs)
The Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles left Sunday's game against the Broncos briefly with a shoulder injury, but was able to return to action. Charles insists the injury is not serious and doesn't expect to miss any action.

Matt Forte-RB (Bears)
The Bears running back Matt Forte suffered a sprained left hand in Sunday's win over the Rams. Forte played through the injury that isn't thought to be serious. He is not expected to miss any time.

Antwaan Randle El-WR (Redskins)
The Redskins wide receiver Antwaan Randle El suffered a sprained shoulder in Sunday's game against the Saints. Randle El left the game in the fourth quarter after suffering the injury.

Devin Hester-WR (Bears)
The Bears wide receiver Devin Hester suffered a calf injury in the teams week 13 victory over the Rams. Hester left the game in the third quarter with the injury finishing the day with just one catch.

Donnie Avery-WR (Rams)
The Rams speedy receiver Donnie Avery suffered a subluxation of his shoulder in Sunday's matchup with the Bears. Avery was able to finish the game, but his status for Week 14 is questionable as the team is hopeful he will play.

Hines Ward-WR (Steelers)
According the ESPN's Adam Schefter the Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward strained a hamstring on Sunday against the Raiders and is expected to be "very" questionable on Thursday when the team plays the Cleveland Browns.


Defensive Player Injuries

E.J. Henderson-LB (Vikings)
The Vikings linebacker E.J. Henderson suffered a serious leg injury in the second half of Sunday night's matchup with the Cardinals. Henderson was carted off in obvious and excruciating pain. The severity of the injury appears serious though no updates had been given immediately following the game.

Oshiomogho Atogwe-FS (Rams)
The Rams big play safety Oshiomogho Atogwe left Sunday's game against the Bears with a shoulder injury. He is scheduled to undergo an MRI exam.

Albert Haynesworth-DT (Redskins)
The Redskins defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth left Sunday's game against the Saints with an ankle injury, but was able to return.

John Henderson-DL (Jaguars)
The Jaguars defensive lineman John Henderson suffered a shoulder injury in Sunday's win over the Texans. The injury is not to believed to be and X-rays taken came back negative.
