Sunday's Game Notes:

  • The Chargers pulled out a miracle come-from-behind win on the road over the Chiefs on Sunday, coupled with the Broncos loss to Carolina, San Diego remains alive in the race for the AFC West title. The Chargers play Broncos in week 17 in what could very much decide the division winner.
  • The Steelers used their pressuring defense to force two turnovers, sack the quarterback twice and limit the Ravens offense to just 202-yards on the day. The win gave the Steelers the AFC North title and clinched a first-round bye in the playoffs.
  • With all three teams winning, the Patriots, Jets, and Dolphins have tightened up the AFC East race. While the Patriots have completed all of their divisional matchups, the Dolphins and Jets are heading toward a week 17 clash which could very well decide the division winner.

Week 15...
SUNDAY'S HEROES

Week 15 was just another exciting week of fantasy action. With the second week of the fantasy playoffs just about complete, some owners may be asking questions like "Where is TO?", "What happened to Cutler?", and "Has anyone seen McGahee? These players may have been absent on Sunday, but check out, who did what and made the most noise for owners in Week 15 with our usual "Sunday's Heroes."

Here are this week's fantasy Studs!

The Fantasy Notebook

(notable mentions for Week 15)

What we think we know:

  • With the Ravens in the middle of a heated playoff run, they are going to stay with LeRon McClain as their featured back. On Sunday McClain carried the ball 23 times, while McGahee saw only 6 carries. Fantasy owners should not expected to see Willis McGahee make any kind of huge impact in Week 16 or 17, McClain is the safe play.
  • With the NFL playoffs nearing, the Panthers quarterback Jake Delhomme and wide receiver Steve Smith have elevated their play over the past couple of weeks and look to continue going forward. While Delhomme will still be considered a low QB2, Smith is a high end WR1 for Week 16.

Fantasy Spotlight:

***Moss has big day in Patriots big win...
